Notification of IBPS Clerk 2018
Tentative dates have been released by IBPS. As stated by IBPS Clerk 2018 calender Prelims exam will be conducted on 08.12.2018, 09.12.2018, 15.12.2018 & 16.12.2018. mains exam is scheduled on 20.01.2019. Further notification of IBPS Clerk 2018-19 will be released in the month of September 2018. IBPS Clerk 2018 is a great opportunity for those who could not able to get through SBI and other bank recruitment exam.

Centre for IBPS Clerk 2018 exam
When you fill the exam online application form the options will be given to choosing the center as per your preference. If seats are not available at your preferred center, IBPS can allow you to the other center. Center allotment decision is under IBPS. Complaint regarding center allotment will not be entertained by IBPS Clerk 2018.
While filling the online application form you are given the option to choose the centre of your preference. However IBPS can allot you a centre other than the choice made by you if there is non-availability of seats at preferred venues. No complaints will be entertained by IBPS in regards to change in the exam centre.
Recruitment in 2018 of IBPS Clerk
As per mentioned in the first paragraph of this post, recruitment process of IBPS Clerk 2018 will take place in two phases:
1)Preliminary Examination
2) Main Examination
To get selected for this post in clerical cadre, the candidate has to qualify both exams. The important thing of IBPS you need to know is there is no interview process required to select for a candidate after the mains. Selection completely depends on mains exam.

The preliminary exam of IBPS Clerk is online testing of a candidate on the basis of their aptitude, intellect, and English. Proceed to mains exam candidate has to clear all three sections of the preliminary exam. There is a time frame of one hour to solve the question paper. This is a 100 marks paper, and passing mark will be decided by IBPS, generally passing marks is changed every year. It depends on the difficulty level of the exam.
Phase 2-: IBPS Mains Examination
A lot of changes have been noticed in the exam pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017. The exam duration and the number of questions asked in mains exam of IBPS Clerk have been revised. As per the latest update by IBPS, there will be 190 questions and that has to be solved in a time frame of 160 minutes.

Earlier Computer Aptitude Reasoning Ability Section was conducted separately. But, as per the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are combined together and will constitute of 50 questions, and time duration for this paper is 45 minutes. Phase-2: IBPS Clerk Mains Examination
Major changes have been observed in the Exam Pattern of IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam. The total duration and the number of questions asked in Mains Examination of IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam have been revised. In the latest update by IBPS, IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now constitute of 190 questions that needs to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
Previously, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, in the recent update by IBPS, both these sections are amalgamated together and will constitute of 50 questions that needs to be solved in a time duration of 45 minutes. Both Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam will be conducted bilingually, i.e. both in English and in Hindi. Let’s have a look at the Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk CWE VII.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in both preliminary examination as well as mains examination. A wrong answer to an objective question will lead to a penalty of one-fourth of the total mark assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for the question left blank or unanswered.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS Clerk Exam:
The final score for the IBPS Clerk exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:
• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be considered for selection.
• Candidates must qualify Phase-2 to be eligible for final merit.
• The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category.Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.

The major three sections of the preliminary examination are Reasoning, English Language and Numerical Ability. Each of these sections has multiple subheadings to focus on when preparing for IBPS Clerk CWE.

What is the Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk 2018?
The candidate must have following criteria for being eligible for IBPS Clerk 2018.
- Age Limit: The candidate must be more than 20 years and less than 28 years. The final notification will be released with criteria for IBPS Clerk 2018.
- Educational Qualification: Minimum qualification for IBPS Clerk is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The candidate must be passed in English as one of the subjects in SSC/HSC/graduation level. The candidate must have all certificates as a proof of passing the qualifying examination.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Results
IBPS will declare the results after completion of each phase of examination. The final state wise merit list and category wise merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by candidates in their online mains examination. Candidates who fall in the prescribed merit list will then be considered for appointment for the post of clerk in Banks.
